Election time is just around the corner and Novafm’s Fitzy Claire and Jules thought it was time to get a well rounded perspective on what candidates are running so they put in a call to The Australian Sex Party president Fiona Patten.
The Australian Sex Party (ASP) is about “getting the government out of our lives” according to Fiona, “I don’t think the government should be telling adults what they can read and what computer games they can play”. The group is in support of same sex marriage, getting Viagra on the Pharmaceutical benefits scheme amongst things. It’s “trying to get the politicians to giggle less when they think about sex” says the president.
With possible tag lines of “want longer… lasting…. personal freedom?”, “Putting the slap and tickle back into question time” and “in the privacy of the polling booth” it's defiantly something to think about!
The Federal Election is Saturday 21st August
