A narrated presentation by Adam Thierer, Senior Fellow, Progress & Freedom Foundation, regarding how many homes actually need parental control tools. Thierer shows that far few homes actually need parental control technologies than most people realize. The reason this is important is because many lawmakers and media critics claim that government regulation is needed to remedy low parental controls uptake. But those critics are using faulty statistical analysis in reaching that finding. This presentation explains why.
